Hi
Just over a fortnight ago I won my PIP appeal at tribunal
but haven't heard a thing from DWP. Does it usually take this long (or longer!) or do I need to chase it up?
When they turned me down they were in touch immediately!
They stopped paying my DLA in September so I assume my new award will be backdated to then?
I attended the tribunal with just my husband and no extra supporting evidence after being awarded just 2 points following my ATOS assessment and mandatory reconsideration. The panel couldn't have been nicer and awarded higher mobility and lower care for 3 years. So to everyone in the same situation, don't give up!

Hi
Congratulations and thanks for letting us know.
You could send a copy of your award decision to the DWP and request your money soon as.
Typical they can't wait to stop your money but get sulky when they lose!!! Which is most of the time!!!! HURRAH

It typically takes 5-8 weeks for a Tribunal result to be processed and for back payments to be made.
Well done on winning
