We cannot give definitive advice on financial matter on the forum, I would recommend that you get face to face advice before proceeding.
PIP takes no account of who is part of the household so will not be effected.
ESA can, but your son would not be classed as part of your household, nor you part of his, so your claims will remain separate and there will be no direct impact.
If you son is receiving the Severe Disability Premium then he will lose it unless you are receiving a PIP Daily Living award.
Council Tax and Housing benefit may be affected, but we don't advise on these.
