DLA & Nursing Home Fees paid by NHS was created by Bill24chev
I( received my DLA annual award letter today.

It mentioned that a recent court case now means that DLA care may still be payable if nursing home fees paid by NHS

Does not affect me but Mother-in-law. recently admitted to a care home and may need to be classified as needing Nursing home care.

Tried searching for this Court declension but had no success can some one signpost me to it.

Hi Bill,

I suspect this is something which merits someone getting face2face advice on behalf of your Mum-in-law as I doubt it is straightforward!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
