Appeal upheld - what is DWP's normal response?

Hi, we've had our PIP appeal upheld at tribunal. The DWP have written & said they are asking for a statement of decisions from the court so they can decide whether to appeal decision & take to upper tribunal.

Is this a normal response from the DWP or do they normally just act in accordance with the first tier tribunal decision?

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Like the claimant, DWP can only take this further if they can show an 'Error of Law', not just because they do not like the decision. The first step is to request a Statement of Reasons and you will get a copy too. It is unusual for either party to be able to take this further so, hopefully, you will find that they accept the decision.
