Best evidence to add weight to my PIP form

Hi all,

Ive had my form through to transfer me from ESA to PIP and i was wondering what evidence is best to add in with the form to add weight to my argument?

I was going to contact my doctors, pay £10 to get my whole medical history and put that in with the form but i did that with the incapacity benefit to dla form but i still had to go to an assessment.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

I think you are getting your "benefits" mixed up a bit !!!

Don't you mean DLA to PIP and IB to ESA !!

If you are to request copy of your medical records, I would not simply send all of them !!

Try and sift out all relevant extracts and use them.

You can also try and gain a letter of support from your G.P. and you will see an example of the wording that you could use in requesting this : Here and : Here

You need to take on-board that the qualifying criteria for PIP is totally different and in some aspects much harder to achieve than that of DLA.

Many current DLA recipients who quite legitimately qualified for their DLA Awards may receive a lesser PIP Award or no PIP Award at all on transfer.
