Welcome to Benefits and Work
If you wish to have his DLA Award reviewed to try and attain a Higher Award, you would have to report a Change of Circumstances (C of C) in writing by letter to DLA requesting a review.
However, doing so would result in him be reviewed for PIP rather than DLA and the qualifying criteria for PIP is totally different to that of DLA.
