Hello,

Feel silly to ask but how long might it take before they have read the paperwork and decide to send us an appointment letter?

Hi JRW,

This part of the process is usually quite fast, many people hear something after 2-3 weeks.

Just had a message from my partner and looked up the figures and apparently my daughter has gone from Middle rate/lower rate DLA to Enhanced Rate for both on PIP for six years. I can't believe it, I've been thinking, we would have to go through a horrible f2f and she wouldn't understand why. Thank you for the guidance on this website.

Should I now apply for ESA for her? She is at college doing a level 1 course, 3 days at college, 2 days at school as additional support.

It's up to you, but if the course is treated as full time then she may automatically meet the requirements for the WRAG although they will still assess her.
