It first of all depends on whether you are receiving ESA(IR) in part or in whole? If you are only receiving ESA(CB) then it will have no impact.

If you are then then your wife's CA will be treated as income and deducted from your ESA(IR) £ for £ but you will also receive the Carers Premium on top of your ESA.

If you are currently receiving the Severe Disability Premium, then this will likely stop if your wife is claiming CA for you.

Run your situation through one of the online Benefit calculators.
