I've just received notice that my DLA will end. The letter says that if I decide to apply for PIP the DLA payments will continue until there is a decision. My question is, If it's a negative decision and I ask for a mandatory reconsideration, do the payments continue? And if the original negative decision then stands, do the payments continue during the appeal?
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
If you do not receive a PIP award then your DLA will continue in payment for a further four weeks from the date of the Decision and then cease. I'm afraid, in this scenario, you will not receive payments why you make any MR or appeal.
