Hi, I am looking for some legal advice in regards to arrears owed on ESA Support Group Payments. My wife and I have been fighting a complaint with DWP for two and a half years and through intervention with the Independent Case Examiner and a Tribunal she has been placed in the Support Group for ESA. However, they are refusing to pay back any arrears prior to the appeal being placed. Before I go into lengthy detail in regards to this, is anyone able to help from a legal perspective or am I better off seeking legal advice from a solicitor?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We don't give legal advice on the forum so if you believe that this is what you need then I'm afraid you will need to go elsewhere, just make sure that you choose someone with experience in Benefit Law as it is an area that most solicitors have no knowledge of.
If you can explain your situation further then we may be able to offer further advice.
