Strange phone call

I am like I can't travel there: she then said, I didn't have to have the medical there and that I could nominate where I wanted my medical which I said in the town I live in. She then said I would get a letter or phone call in the next 2 weeks about it and hung up.
I am left scratching my head about it. When I asked her if I had to have a medical, she said she didn't know and that she had been asked to ring me.
To be quite frank I cant see what me having a medical is to gain as I can't give them anymore info than I have on the forms and I have sent in plenty of proof.
Has anybody have this happen to them or know of anyone has?

These calls are not that unusual. The vast majority of claimants will have to have a face to face assessment.
