Mandatory reconsideration question

Mandatory reconsideration question was created by Rebecca
Could anyone help, please ?

I was told to apply in writing, to ask for my Mandatory Reconsideration, which I did, and said I would be sending supporting evidence within the timeframe.
I was just about to send it all off ( it has taken ages because the assessor has made such a mess of things ) when I get a letter telling me I have failed to have my decision overturned at the Mandatory Reconsideration stage and no supporting evidence has been supplied !
This is a total nonsense !

Now what do I do ? Do I have to go straight to the Appeal ?

It's horrendous, I just don't know what to do.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Thank you.

I've moved your post to it's own topic, please do not tag your posts onto other members topics, it's not fair to them and it could result in you being given the wrong advice.

The DWP should have allowed you four weeks to provide your additional information, from your previous posts it's only been just over two weeks.

You have two options;

Insist on a new MR, revision rates at this stage of the process are rare but they do happen, or

Carry on to appeal.

If you decide to ask for a second MR then you can probably do this over the phone but follow it up in writing, if you decide to go to appeal then links to the form you will need to complete and instructions on how to do so are in the PIP Appeal guide.
