ATOS and personal injury..a question was created by followyourfox
Hi. I had an ATOS assessment and passed after mandatory reconsideration. However I did not score any points for having balance problems and the need for supervision. In fact that was ignored except for saying they had no evidence for it from observing me while I was sitting down. I actually felt ok on this...I sort of hoped they were right, they are medical practitioners after all. So I relaxed my guard on personal safety based on their report. I was wrong to do so and fell down the stairs fracturing my wrist in two places. It is pinned. I have lost a lot of rotation and it is permanent and have been under physio for months. If I had not read that report and believed it I would not be in this state now. I am lucky this is not worse Can ATOS be held responsible in any way?
