reconsideration for pip

I recently lost all mobility only had 4 points and 8 points for the care part decided to go for reconsideration I was awarded 8 points for mobility and 10 points for the care part not great but I am getting lower rate mobility for car where as it was before I would not of been able to claim mobility as I am over age of 65 yrs so can try again in 3 yrs time I have decided not to go to appeal as I could end up with nothing the only good thing I get to keep blue badge and get 50%discount off road tax so have now bought my motobility car I have only had it 5 months and they took £2000 of plus 6 months of payments so had a real bargain I actually got it £4000 cheaper SO BETTER THAN NOTHING

well, it looks like a lot of swings and roundabouts for you!! I'm so glad you managed to keep your car (one way and another) - it means the difference between being stuck indoors and having some sort of mobility out of doors. Maybe some other members will be able to follow your example and manage to keep hold of their cars - I hope so.
