Home visits are pretty much the same as those done at the Assessment Providers offices.
The PIP Claim guide has a section that covers the assessment and the questions that you are likely to be asked.

Thank you for your reply Gordon
I have been reading the pip section just wanted to know what other people experiences was, I have not had a home visit for some time with DLA.
I am just worrying about it all because I am on DLA lower rate and it does help me out what with the cost of things today.
Thank you again

Both my wife and myself had home assessments. On the positive side, you are on familiar ground and depending on which descriptors you are fulfilling this can make it easier to prove. On the negative side, you are on familiar ground and are used to managing your activities at home so be aware of this and make sure you get your point across about what help you need.

Hi David and thank you
That's what I worry about we all get to manage in own way when we are in our own home.
I suffer a lot with pain and I have problems griping things when my hands get swollen more so with my left then right but I do suffer with pain in other joints in my body but just like you and your wife we try and manage in our own home and do the best we can and I am not that good at explaining myself,I will always think after that I should of told them about this and that.
Thank you and I wish you both well
