Calculation of DHP

As I understand it the rules for DHP do not prevent DLA and PIP payments being included in the claimants calculation of income, however, there are a couple of cases where this decision was overturned, see the following. It's not clear whether these cases can be used against other decision to include the payments, but it would certainly be worth a try.

my impression is that councils are including DLA and PIP unless challenged.
