Just to say thank you again for all the information given in members guides.
My son ,who has the same hereditary disabling conditions as myself, has just had his renewal agreed at the same higher rates as has been getting previously.
I still found it all quite stressful and soul destroying due to having to write the true picture of my son's difficulties but having the guides meant it was easier to break it all down to answer the questions for the assessors to understand.

  			 				Hello Effie

It's soul destroying having to write down the facts of our disabilities; the forms are designed, I think to make you really consider carefully the true extent of how these disabilities make our lives so very difficult. Hard to face up to. And when it is your child, it's even more painful, I think.

I'm glad that you found the guide helpful, and that you eventually obtained the award your son needed. I hope that the award makes your life a little bit easier. If you need any further help don't hesitate to come back to the website. Good luck to you and your son.
