I attended my assessment on 4th May 2016. I requested a copy of report which I received yesterday and there are several issues

I stated I have to drive to my GP visits and go on my own then when had to have physical examination in used my crutches to get from chair to the bed and handed my crutches to the man doing assessment and he had to return them to me once completed. Yet he has stated in moving around area the following

She was observed walking with limp at a slower pace no mention of my crutches yet stated use of crutched in observations area

Then he has put She reports she will go to doctors on her own no mention of fact I have to drive to get there!

So he has stated that I can walk more than 20 meters but no more than 50 metres with aids a majority of the time to the acceptable standard.

If DWP go by this and ignore the fact have to drive and use crutches will lose my car. Can I complain and if get decision reflecting this appeal??

There is little that you can do until a Decision is made on your claim.

Your using crutches is relevant to the Moving Around Activity but I am afraid your driving is not and will not be taken into account.

Come back to the forum if you are unhappy with the Decision once it is made and we wil do our best to help.
