ESA Appeal tribunal was created by Susan
Hi, I am representing my daughter at her appeal tribunal for ESA.
The past two medical Assessments I escorted her for support as she has anxiety& depression. The first Assessment Two years or more she was denied the 15 points required; I phoned the DWP on that occasion as the assessment we received was not accurate. She was awarded ESA
The second time as it was the same Assessor, I reminded him of his omissions last time, particularly that she has suicidal thoughts and does not wish to be alive.
On this third occasion the same Assessor gave her 0 points, despite keeping her sanity 1he 55 mins leaving her in a state of extreme anxiety resulting in her saying the "right" thing to expedite the appt:
The assessment was short.
I would appreciate any and all help for the appeal in just over a week.
Many thanks

Hi Susan and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Every post on this forum is read and approved by a moderator before being made public. Therefore there will always be a delay before you see our post, even during official 'open hours'. How long this takes depends entirely on how many (voluntary) mods are on-line and how busy we are. Don't worry, there is no need to post again, we will get round to you in time.

I'm sorry that you are having to go through an appeal on behalf of your daughter :( Have you done a formal submission yet?

Our ESA guide has a section that deals with Mandatory Reconsiderations and Appeals, I suggest you have a look at that first.

There are other things you might find helpful -

Appearance before triibunals

The video DWP banned

You might wish to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. That will allow you to come back with further questions/comments without having to start a new topic each time. I helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
