Has anyone with bipolar 2 rapid cycling applied for pip? Dreading a face to face? I have no shortage of supporting people who will give me supporting letters but the sheer thought of going to a strange place with a hostile person behind a desk staring at me freaks me beyond belief?
Have you had to go for a face to face anyone with bipolar?

Hi Rebecca and welcome to Benefits and Work. This link should help explain where everything is on the site.

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Whilst some people do, unfortunately, face hostile assessors, many members report being treated with dignity and respect. If you want to know what to expect on the day, there is a section towards the back of the PIP guides that explains it.

PIP help for claimants

You might want to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now you will find it easily in future. That will allow you to return with further questions/comments without starting a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place as we know what has already been said - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
