Speed of the DLA to PIP process was created by carolann
We needed to replace our car, so decided to take one on motability (we had bought our last one from them after the contract was up). We picked the new car up on the 31/03/16, we then received a letter from DWP on the 06/04/16 stating my DLA was ending on the 29/04/16. We made the phone call and received the PIP forms which we sent back on 16/05/16. On Friday (20th) we had a telephone call arranging our home assessment visit for the 25/05/16. This almost feels like we have been fast tracked, any views would be welcome.

I have just experienced the same, forms posted on 19th may, phone call on 22nd making home assessment for 31st. I said to the woman on phone that the assessor wouldn't have been able to read through form that quick and she said they would read through it before appointment.
