  			 				Hi

Having had a successful PIP appeal on 9th May (over 2 weeks ago.) I was curious to know when I might hear from DWP in relation to back payments, assuming their not challenging the award?

It usually takes 5-8 weeks, it might be worth your confirming that they have the Decision Notice, despite the fact they nominate where the letter needs to be sent to they regularly claim they haven't received it.

  			 				Hi guys

I have just got off the phone with DWP and Appeals office.

When I called DWP they said no notification has been placed on the system of my PIP Appeal award. I was advised by DWP to contact Appeals office, which I did and they informed me they had sent an email informing DWP of my Appeal award. I again called DWP and they said they would chase it up and the case manager would call me back in the next few days.

I am not impressed at having to spend half my day trying to sort this out when I thought it was been dealt with.

  			 				Sorry!

Following up on my last post. Can anyone comment and advise if I should be concerned about what I've mentioned.

Don't confuse incompetency with deliberate intent, the DWP specialise in the former and only very rarely the latter.

There is nothing to be concerned about.

Yes, Gordon! The mind boggles. Even after appeal we are still having to deal with the whole shambles.
