NOTIFYING AND OR CHANGING OF HOME ADDRESS

Hi to all,

Does notifying the DWP of a change of address, give then cause to trigger a complete reassessment ie of ESA50, and or PIP , with the possibility of a Face2Face assessment.

example.. if I had just had a reassessment for PIP and ESA, and was awarded pip for 3 years, and placed in the wrag/support group say for 3 years too.

Then a few weeks or months later I decided to move home. surely that's not a change of circumstance's health wise, but rather only a move of address?

It seem ludicrous to deem this fit for a complete reassessment, views on this would be appreciated.

many thanks

Hi,

Yes, you are correct, a change of address should (and usually does ) not trigger a reassessment of your claim.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
