The quick answer to your question is 'yes'.
The longer answer is that both benefits are awarded because of the problems caused by a condition rather than the diagnosis yourself.
These are the basic criteria for the 2 groups of ESA
Qualifying for the WRAG
Qualifying for the Support Group
For PIP the claimant must have had the care/mobility needs for the previous 3 months, at least, and they must be expected to continue for a further 9 months. If you satisfy those criteria, I suggest you have a look at our PIP self-test and score yourself harshly to get an idea of whether you might qualify.

You might want to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. This will allow you to return with further questions without having to start a new topic each time
