When I asked for an extension, I asked if they would confirm in writing, she said no, but all calls are recorded and there would be no problem.

Hi again,
I've just sent my pip2 form off and had an acknowledgement this morning. Can you tell me how long I will wait to be called for an assessment
Thanks

There can be a big variation but most people seem to hear within a few weeks.
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hello again,
I had an acknowledgment of receipt of my pip2 6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything as yet. Is this normal.
Thanks again for all your help

Hi P,
Most people seem to have heard something by now. You have 2 options - you can decide that 'no news is good news' and sit tight, or you can contact the assessment provider and ask what is going on. It is up to you which course of action (or inaction) you prefer.

Thank you Mrs Hurtyback. I'm a nervous wreck on the phone so I think I'll sit tight and see what happens.
