Porthole Pete wrote: Ok thanks Gordon. Not as daft a question as I thought then. I definitely could not walk without them. Have to have something on my feet at all times to walk. Even in house have to wear padded slippers. Awkward a bit in summer as would love to walk around house barefoot but just no way could do this. Feet been like this for donkeys, just that they got worse over the years. PP
I should have been clearer in my post

I have been reading all about the appeal process. Have also gone thru the PIP Guide again. Could you kindly tell me if 'PA4 medical consultation report' mentioned on p70 of the guide is the very same thing as the 'assessment report' mentioned on p76? I am wanting to ask for a copy of the assessment report and just needed this clearing up before I ring them. Also could you tell me if there is anything else I could ask for? I seem to remember mentioned somewhere something about a 'score sheet'. I am wanting to ask for whatever is available to me and am hoping to do it with just the one phone call as I absolutely dread ringing them. Hope that makes sense. Finally if I do put my request in, how long am I likely to have to wait for it? Or is that a case of how long is a piece o string? Thanx
