Buried Alive - The PIP Sequel!

There is no requirement for you to give advanced warning that you will be cancelling the PIP appointment, you can ring up 5 minutes before the time it is supposed to start if you want, in fact you don't have to ring at all.
As I understand it from your posts you will be seeing your advocate on the morning of your ESA assessment and the PIP one is currently two days later? So speak to you advocate when you see them, to see if they can attend the PIP one as well and if they can when they would be available to do it, then you can ring the Assessment Provider for your PIP assessment and re-arrange, it's unlikely that they will allow you to book more than three weeks after the day that you ring them.

Can see its simple, just ask advocate on morning of ESA appt, but didn't really want to be doing anything other than concentrating on ESA on ESA Dday. Just adds more pressure on the day. The fact I can call to cancel pip on the pip day appt is a big relief! Just for interest though, you say for pip I don't even have to ring them at all, what would happen then, would they send another date or would they just send pip claim back to DWP as a no show?
I don't recommend it but providing it is your first PIP appointment they should send you a second one. If it is the second appointment then you will have to attend or you risk your claim being closed.
