ESA letter was created by Johnny
Hi
I've been told I'm going to receive Severe Disability Premium which will be included in my ESA. However, I received a strange letter from DWP today which laid out past changes in my ESA (Support Group.) from the date in which I first started receiving it a few yeas back. It included in the last page reference to 'your living expenses', from the period April to June 2011.
Is this a standard letter? Because I cannot make any sense of it.

If you are eligible for SDP then it will be backdated, the letter is likely the DWP's ham-fisted way of explaining this, in their defence they are limited to using standard letters which are often not suitable for the task, on the other hand, their communications are rarely clear.
