Tribunal was created by sarah
Hi, I hope someone can help. I have had my decision back on my mandatory reconsideration for my PIP claim and have still been awarded 0 points, so now I have to go down the path of a tribunal but I am totally in the dark about how to go about this. Please could someone point me in the right direction and any other advice would be great. Many thanks

Hello Sarah

If you go to the 'Members Only Guides' in the sidebar, and click on it, then on PIP.

There's then a heading 'PIP Appeals; go to 'Guide to PIP appeals' and download this. This will give the 'nuts and bolts' of the Appeal process.

You then could download 'Guide to PIP Appeal Submissions' and this gives you step by step approach to the information you need to present to the Tribunals Service.

Remember you only have one month from receiving your Mandatory Reconsideration award letter to present your decision to Appeal; I'm sure if you follow the suggestions in the Guides you will give yourself the best chance of success.

If you bookmark this page now, you will be able to get back to us without any difficulty if you have an further questions. Good luck with the Appeal. :)
