Letter from Psychologist - should I send copy? was created by Cathplum
I was due to have ESA Health Assessment today at 1pm - at 10.45am I was phoned from Assessment Centre to inform that appointment had been cancelled. It is to be re-scheduled - letter will be sent in post. I told the person who called that I would be on holiday for two weeks in a week's time - she said that this would be noted.
Question:
1. I will send a letter to Health Assessment Centre to confirm the phone-call I had today as well as the information I gave (i.e. holiday dates) - should I also send letter to DWP?
2. My psychologist wrote a letter for me to take to the assessment. Should I send a copy to Assessment Centre and DWP before my re-scheduled appointment? Or when I get new appointment? Or should I keep the letter until I go to new appointment and take it with me? I'm worried about the date on the letter - will information "expire"?

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
1. I would copy the DWP in as well as you will be away from home and Maximus only have to give you seven days notice of an appointment.
2. It depends on the contents of the letter, if it includes information that may mean you avoid a face to face assessment then you should send it now to both, if not then can be or more value to take it to the assessment and ask the assessor to read it before they begin the interview.
