my Dr is very supportive of my claim and has agreed to write a letter to help my claim, he is currently on holiday so i will be unable to send it in with my initial application to go to appeal. Due to him having limitted time in surgery to look through my notes and study all my problems he has asked me to write down my problems and how they effect me. with my probs being all physical is it worth him mentioning Regulation 29 or just to stick to my medical facts .
Thanks

You can meet the requirements for Reg. 29 for physical issues so if you meet the requirement then your GP should mention it. Remember there must be a “substantial risk” in this context it means a risk:
“that cannot sensibly be ignored having regard to the nature and gravity of the feared harm in the particular case”

Am now waiting my appeal date, got letter today confirming my esa reduced rate being paid and back dated to 30th July because i supplied fitnote, do you have any idea sort of timescale we are looking at for my appeal, i live in Bootle Merseyside. The letter also says i may be required to participate in Work Focussed Interviews, any idea what this entails ?
Thanks

Most people wait a few months for their tribunal to come round. I don't know whether we have any members from your area who can comment . . .
Work focused interviews should look at your work experience and how you might be able to move closer to future employment. Work Related Activities can be pretty much anything but would typically include looking at and updating your CV.

Today i rang DWP to ask when my money would be paid while i am waiting appeal , shock horror they have not recieved my fitnote but have got all other documents. When i checked my photocopy of the note it is dated from 27/07/2016 to 25/11/2016. I thought fitnotes max weeks was 12 weeks this is 17 weeks . They wont accecpt the photocopy so when i ask for a replacement do i ask the Doc to alter the dates so ifs 12 weeks ?
Thanks

The first 2 certificates in a claim must be for no more than 3 months/12 weeks each. After that, they can be for as long as the GP sees fit, so don't worry about that.
