how do I cope with this? desperate for help advice

I really do not know which way to turn. This week I didn't receive a tax credit payment which is usually £140 per week made up of my husband's working tax credit, he works 16 hours per week. There was a disability element for myself and also we have a 16 year old who is going to start a government led apprenticeship. this is not starting until September. Our daughter works, she is 18 and pays £100 per month towards her up keep.

I claim DLA lowest rate care, which is in the process of being changed to pip. waiting to hear.

I receive ESA contributions based. We also get some housing benefit towards our rent and some council tax benefit.

including all the above and also child benefit we have £383.09 coming in per week.

our rent takes up £183.46 per week and food shopping is always between £120 and £140 per week including toiletries and cleaning products, pet food etc.....

so that is £323 per week from £ 383.09 leaves £60 for water, gas, electric, clothing, tv licence, car etc...... this is just not possible to live on and I don't know which way to turn. I was also told that we have been over paid by £669.41 from tax credits which will have to be paid back. How??? my world is collapsing

I'm afraid we don't deal with tax credits. All I can suggest is that you contact HMRC on Monday morning and ask what is going on!
