Hi there
If someone is in the ESA Support group but has been turned down for PIP from changing over from DLA is it worth mentioning in MR letter or appeal if it comes to that, that they have been awarded ESA?

Hi Nick,

It depends on whether the reason you were awarded Support Group ESA will also score points for PIP. There is some crossover between the benefits but, even when they appear similar, none of the descriptors are identical.
