Relief

Having completed my ESA renewal form and sending it in on 5th May I heard nothing at all. On 2nd August I took the plunge and rang Maximus and was told that they were waiting to send an appointment for a face to face assessment. I felt sick. I'd only had a face to face for DLA to pip in February and the result (enhanced at both levels) in April. I contacted my MP about it and she said she was receiving so many complaints but she was going to take it up with the Secretary of State. Surprise, surprise today the dreaded envelope arrived. No not the appointment for the face to face but a letter telling me that a decision has been made and I continue in the support group. Such a huge relief. I have no doubts that it's the influence of my MP at work here. I'll be interested to hear what response she has received. Thank you,for all the wonderful advice you provide.
