esa assesment was created by kayk
hi i have been onesa contribution bases since march 2013 .on friday i received esa 50 to fill in i have been given till the 12/09/2016 to return it , i was understanding that conribution besed esa was only payable for three years is this correct i am in support group without a medical.
also i was 60 years old in june but my pesoinable age is noe 66 due to pension regulations.so my question is if they find me fit for work which i doubt as i have developed three new il,lnesses since then .would i be entitled to jobseekers allowance or is there another benifit at my age ,i have worked for 40 years till getting ill in 2012 they have been crediting my stamp ,will this qualify me for js,though i cant do that as i would be declaring myself fit for work which i am clearly not, thank you for your help xand all the good work you do.

Welcome to the forum.
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
ESA is an indefinite award with regular reassessment, the longest period (usually) between assessments is three years.
This is a full reassessment of your claim and you need to complete the ESA50 in detail and provide evidence as you can, even if it has been sent in before,
Providing you are successful in your reassessment then you can potentially continue to receive ESA until you reach State Retirement Age.
Please make sure that you use the current ESA Claim guides as there have likely been changes since you were last assessed.

Hi KK,
I have merged your query with the previous topic relating to your ESA claim. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one topic!
Your current ESA claim will continue until another decision is made, no matter how long that takes.
You should treat the ESA in the same way that you did the first one - complete it in detail and send with (copies of) it any/all supporting documentation. Definitely include limitations arising due to new illnesses.
If/when you have further questions or comments about your ESA claim, at any stage in the process, please reply to this and we will do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser
