time frame for CAPITA assessments...

Hi all,
Received my letter stating DWP has forwarded my application for PIP onto CAPITA....Any idea how long it is before the assessment date is issued...I have treatment planned (which I informed them of)...Just worried I might miss the appointment if I am in treatment...I have a CAPITA email address with the letter..Do they respond to e mails...Thanks in advance...

Hi Edwin,

This part of the process usually happens quite promptly with many members reporting receiving an appointment for the f2f within 2-4 weeks of sending back the PIP2 form.

I haven't had occasion to email Capita so cannot comment about their response. Maybe members will be able to help.

Hi edwin. My assessment is next monday, and i have emailed them so much this week. They are not allowed to respond to an email via email ( they told me) but they do ring you either same day as the email or the very next day. Hope this helps
