DLA due to end - is ESA affected?

I assumed my ESA would be reassessed routinely after one year, and expect it anyway around November. Just on the off chance that they did re-consider my ESA if I didn't apply for PIP, they wouldn't stop the ESA without carrying out a reassesment would they?

Your ESA claim will continue until a formal decision is made to end it. This cannot happen without a reassessment.
