extra dla after phoning to transfer to pip

Hi there,

Well I phoned yesterday for the initial call to transfer from DLA to PIP for my son who has turned 16. Anyway i've just been onto my bank and there is a payment from DLA totaling one weeks payment. does anybody know why. He wasn't due another payment for three weeks. I thought DLA was supposed to carry on as normal until a decision was made. I am worried incase the carres allowance stop too and will he get another DLA payment while they are processing this claim. this has got me worried.

Providing you meet all of the deadlines for completing and returning the forms, his DLA will continue in payment until 4 weeks after a Decision on his PIP claim is made.
