HI ALL
I RECENTLEY STOPPED WORKING IN MAY AND HAVE WENT ON THE SICK I CURRENTLY GET £34 ESA AND WAS TOLD TO APPLY FOR PIP.I AM ON THE SICK UNDER THE MENTAL HEALTH ACT.I HAVE A PSYCHIATRIST AND JUST WONDERING IF YOU CAN CLAIM PIP FOR THIS.

Please will you not post all in upper case, as this causes problems with members with visual impairments who use assistive technology?

PIP can be claimed for any long-term condition that causes problems with self-care or mobility. You must have been experiencing the problem for at least 3 months and it must be expected to last for at least 9 months.
Our PIP guide includes a self-assessment quiz. Score yourself very harshly, as DWP certainly will, and see whether you think you might qualify.
