Shoes!! was created by Gareth56
For the purposes of PIP if you have been supplied with a pair of shoes from an NHS orthotist to mitigate issues with your feet can the shoes be considered as either an aid (or appliance)?

Thanks

I can't see why they would not be classed as an aid, but this may not be to your advantage as the use of an aid is assumed for all the Moving Around Descriptors except (c), where you would have to show that you cannot reliably walk more than 50m on the majority of days.
