Hi I am currently receiving contribution bases Esa for the last 2 years. I was put in the support group and have been told you can stay on CB Esa if given the support category. I receive £218.00 a fortnight but do not receive the extra disability premium of around £15 pound a week. My sister has said she thinks I should be receiving it. Does anyone know. I also get low rate care and mobility DLA. As I receive the contribution element I have found that I don't qualify for certain things like my prescriptions free and therefore have to pay for all my bipolar meds. I think this is unfair.

To be entitled to payment of the Enhanced Disability Premium (for being in the Support Group), you need to be receiving Income Related ESA either in whole or as a top-up to your ESA(CB).
ESA(IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See
Asset rule for ESA(IR)
24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)
If you think that you would qualify then you need to ask for an ESA3 form to be sent which captures your financial information.
