An unwelcome standard to claiming PIP was created by deliciousoldfart
We are a family of 3 all with different disabilities and we have all recently been required to submit claims for the new PIP. On each occasion we have been asked to attend an interview. The results so far are 2 rejections and one still in the system. We have used the advice From Benefits & Work and have targeted our answers to the maximum points based criteria. Our impressions were our applications could not have been done better, surprisingly our answers all very truthful. But they were rejected. We have asked for reconsideration and wait for their response. I am not aware that the latest PIP assessors are following a new direction, as anyone else suffered this? We live in Sandwell in the central West Midlands.

Hi dof,

Thanks for the update. I'm sorry to hear that, thus far, 2 out of 3 claims have been refused :(

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
