DLA transfer to PIP - dates do not match?

Hi :)

I last applied for DLA in 2014 & the decision letter said the award would end on 27 Oct 2016. I've now successfully applied for PIP but, strangely, the decision letter says (on page 2):
"Now we've made our decision about your PIP claim, this means your DLA will end on 6 December 2016."
& the letter says my PIP claim begins on 7 Dec (with first payment on 29 Dec). So, I'm confused? Will I continue to receive DLA until 6 Dec (as implied by PIP letter) or did DLA payments stop on 27 Oct (as DLA letter had stated) meaning I will not receive any DLA or PIP for Nov? Any info greatly appreciated! :)

The law requires your DLA to remain in payment until 28 days after a Decision on your PIP claim has been made, they will have extended your DLA claim to accommodate this, check your payments in case they muck it up.
