Exemption from 'Face to Face' assessment?

I don't have to have a face to face to contend with, but just constantly being in limbo is, clearly causing many very sick people extra psychological distress. I, too, feel it is shameful that the sick and disabled are used to "balance the books" for this government. Believe you me, I would be a lot happier if I was well and able to work.... Chronic serious illness is not a life choice. Take care all

Thanks Gordon and thank you Susie for your encouragement and suggestions. I'm sorry to hear of your own struggle and I hope things are resolved for you soon. If good to know it's sometimes possible to secure an assessment without a face to face. I will just have to follow up the original form with a flood of evidence and letters from her Psychologist, doctor and care coordinator as well as call them myself. I had hoped to avoid this by being exhaustively thorough in the form, but apparently that's not enough and they are too lazy to approach the relevant health professionals themselves.
