Well after using the guides on here, I felt like I'd completed the pip assessment form to the best of my ability, whilst making sure I emphasized the important phrases etc which you advise on. I was gobsmacked to read that the assessor had not only overlooked material evidence, he had the temerity to basically disagree with medical evidence provided by gp, cpn, and various psychiatrists.. As a result, I'm getting enhanced care, but no mobility any more. In actual fact, when I got this response, I relapsed into acute mental crisis and ended up in hospital after yet another od attempt. It isn't the money, I've accepted being worse off... It's just that nowadays I am so unhappy at the prospect of being harrangued for the rest of my life by the dwp, I Can't see a way forward. If medically qualified specialists are now less able to assess serious illnesses and the resulting effects than Joe Bloggs in the dwp office, then the sick and disabled will continue to bear the brunt of the government cuts. I suppose I should be thankful for any award at all.
I'm sorry to hear you are not happy with the Decision not to award Mobility. You haven't posted any information on why you think that you should receive an award for this component so it's not possible to say whether the Decision is correct or not, but you do have the option of asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration if you want.
