hello, i am writing on behalf of my uncle,he has an esa medical assessment review in january,he has also been sent the dla to pip renewal form.i was wondering if this means that he will have to attend two medicals for each claim or wether they will use the esa medical report when considering the pip assessment. thanks

It is likely, although there are areas of crossover between the two benefits, the criteria are quite different, a PIP report cannot on it's own be used to decide an ESA claim and vice versa.
Also the assessments are carried out by different companies who do not need to talk to each other.
