Recently I have been refused PIP, Have gone through the Appeals Process and waiting for the DWP Pack and a Tribunal Hearing Date, my GP has increased my antidepressant medication, and prescribed Codeine for my Spondylosis pain, my question is do I inform the DWP or do I wait for the Tribunal Hearing to explain the changes to my medications.

If you have appealed then all correspondence about your appeal must now be made via the Tribunal Service, however, your appeal is limited to your condition as it was at the time of the Decision you are appealing, the panel cannot take into account any changes that have occurred since then, this includes changes in medication.

How long is the normal time to wait for Tribunal Hearing, I live in the Middlesbrough Area, Thank you.

We don't have regional statistics, most appeals take about 2-3 months to be heard,
