Hi Bertie My OH was diagnosed with AZ in 2012 it was around the time of all the PIP changes etc and we had a home visit face to face, he did not converse with the assessor at all i did it all, however for esa assessment last yr he was not required to do a face to face, i suspect because of his diagnosis of AZ they didnt feel they needed to see him. But i will add by using the guides from benefits and work it was a lot easier to understand and fill out the forms. Good luck
