Hello, can you tell me what age i.e. nearing retirement, the DWP would stop sending ESA50's if you are in the support group. I ask this question as i seem to remember a few years ago something was said that if you are 63? they don't re-assess you, as you are nearing retirement age....Thanks

I'm afraid we have seen members with as little as a couple of months until State Retirement Age receive a new ESA50, in some cases it has been possible to have the reassessment withdrawn as it would not have been completed before they reached an age where they could no longer claim ESA, but the rest have had to go through the process.
