Mandatory Reconsideration was created by ccactus
Following the excellent advice on this site, I decided to phone the DWP to ensure my MR letter had been received; bearing in mind I sent in on the 9/01/17 by recorded delivery and it has been signed for. Their advisor says there is nothing on the systems; so they haven't received it - got to send a copy in, along with proof of postage for the first one - no surprise!!
My question is - if its possibly for you to answer is - how long approx. would it take for it to be in 'the system' - I am asking so I know how long to leave it before I phone again to ensure they have received the copy.

It should be a lot quicker now that all correspondence is scanned but seems to still be taking 7-10 days.
